About Christine

Christine Mott is an accomplished attorney, animal advocate, award-winning author, model, and actress with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. She provides strategic counsel to businesses and non-profits, offering expertise in commercial contracts, board governance, and various corporate matters. Her diverse client roster includes organizations like BlueNalu, Catskill Animal Sanctuary, Lantern Publishing and Media, the Humane Society of the United States, and NADAP, a social services organization supporting vulnerable individuals.

Before establishing her current practice, Christine served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for ICSC, a leading global trade association. In this role, she managed legal and governance issues for a 70,000-member organization, overseeing commercial agreements, IP, HR, corporate governance, and risk management. She also played a key role in government relations, including leading an industry amicus coalition in a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case.

Earlier in her career, Christine Mott was an attorney at the renowned Wall Street firm, Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, representing global corporations and financial institutions in litigation and corporate matters. She also chaired the Animal Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association, where she developed legislative positions, lobbied lawmakers, and created educational programs on animal welfare and environmental protection.

A recipient of the Pro Bono Publico Award for her work with underprivileged children and families, Christine is also the author of the award-winning children’s book, Free Bird: Flaco the Owl’s Dreams Take Flight. She holds a J.D. from NYU Law and a B.A. from Smith College. Christine’s work has been featured in the New York Times, and she currently resides in Southern California with her family.
